We completed our Roosevelt District office building 24 years ago in 2000. Six years ago in 2018, my wife, Lani, and I sold our architectural and planning firm to our senior associates who formed Studio TJP. The firm continued to stay in the building, sharing the kitchen and conference with Lani and I.
A few months back Studio TJP principals, Howard Miller, Steve Campbell, and Ellen Mirro purchased a building on Seattle's Rainier Avenue. They have spent the last few months renovating the lower floor for their office and will be moving in in early October. So—Lani and I will be rattling around in our nearly empty building. We will miss our former associates and the ability to watch them tackle new architectural and historic resources projects.
Our son, Lewis Johnson, is one of the founders of a growing optical computing startup that might need some interim office space. If so, we might have a few new people here helping to keep the lights on.
