As I mentioned in a previous post, I am working on writing a monograph of the Seattle architect Ellsworth Prime Storey. During my research I came upon a 29-page biography written by Storey's daughter Eunice de Chazeau. It was a very personal view of her father's family life.

My intent, however, is to primarily highlight Storey's professional career and I felt that including many of his daughter's observations would distract from this objective. I did believeI that the biography should be made available to those that wished to know more about Storey. As a result, and with the permission of Storey's grandaughter, Alice Speers, I took some time to create and self publish an annotated version of Eunice's biography. Copies will be available at the University of Washington's Architectural Library and the University's Special Collections library. I can also send a pdf copy to you at your request.
